Events Coordination, Planning, and/or Production
- Providing assistance for Freedom Over Texas, Houston's Fourth of July celebration which takes place at Eleanor Tinsley Park (ongoing)
- Coordinated downtown holiday Festival of Lights annual kickoff of holiday lighting (1983-ongoing)
- Coordinated downtown’s hosting of the International Downtown Association's mid-year conference (2004)
- Coordinated with the Super Bowl Host Committee, Downtown District and others, plans to welcome Super Bowl XXXVIII (2003-2004)
- Coordinated with the Houston Astros, Downtown District and others, the plans to welcome the All Star Game to downtown (2003-2004)
- Coordinated with Downtown District the holiday “Miracle on Main Street" outdoor ice rink to attract visitors and shoppers to the core of downtown. (1995-1998)
- Assumed ownership from Foley’s and produced the annual Thanksgiving Day Parade with the sponsor, Bank United (1994-1995; handed off to the Houston Festival)
- Produced Downtown Event Hotline, a recorded telephone message which was changed weekly (1987-1994)
- Co-founded and produced the weekly Party on the Plaza after-work event on Jones Plaza (1987-1994)
- Assisted with ancillary activities for Urban Land Institute Conference (1992)
- Assisted with special events and fundraising for US Conference of Mayors (1992)
- Headed cleanup of downtown and surrounding inner city neighborhoods for Republican National Convention (1992)
- Created and assisted with production of New Year’s Eve in Downtown (1988-1991)
- Produced Great Downtown Summit Cleanup with 4,500 participants (1990)
- Produced “Farewell Parade” of Economic Summit leaders through downtown (1990)
- Produced the Proud Street Workday to kick off Main Street Initiative (1987)
- Provided logistical direction to grand opening of George R. Brown Convention Center (1987)
