In celebration of the 25th Anniversary of Central Houston, Inc., the organization made a commitment to fund an ongoing scholarship with the intent of increasing the urban design and planning talent pool in our City. Central Houston inaugurated this program in 2008 and has a continued commitment to provide merit-based financial assistance to undergraduate students at Rice University in the form of a $5,000 scholarship to a deserving student attending the Rice School of Architecture with an interest in Houston urban design and planning.
