STORM RECOVERY ALERT, SUNDAY, MAY 19, 2024--The majority of Downtown has reopened and Downtown Houston+ Cleaning and Safety Ambassadors have returned to regular schedules. Road closures for a few blocks will continue until pedestrian and traffic access is deemed safe, but Downtown is open for business. The Authority contributes to the maintenance of the park and supports continuous improvement by renovating the project area: waterways, park amenities, trails, flood control, and the like. As well, the Authority is contributing to the construction and amenities of the Downtown Gateway portion of the Buffalo Bayou Park Trails as it moves eastward from Allen’s Landing.
